1965 - like the other Monks but not!

Back in the 60's and 70's in México they were a lot of great and original bands, from classic rock, hard rock, garage, psycodelia and more. Unfortunately the goverment banned all kind form of art, music, concerts, books, poetry, everything, only the "acceptable and nice" was play on the radio and tv. A lot of the bands of those years, recorded great albums, but after Avandaro (The mexican Woodstock) the prohibition and persecution of rock musicians and venues, cause that most of those musicians went broke, and the bands split o ended playing "acceptable and pretty music". This group was exceptional, beyond his recording career, they were required to compose music for some movies of the time. It is sad to realize that musicians as them so great and talent didn´t have a chance over the pretty faces and the bad goverment; Jorge Julio and Jose Antonio are long deceased, but his legacy remains among us.
