Uhmm it's quite different from what I'm used to listening to :) I've never seen anyone play the washboard full stop by the way. Would have loved to see her set it on fire and smash it up in this video though ;)
@redheadx You and me both. I found a couple vids of her playing it while lit, but no smashing, so I'm starting to wonder if I got lucky and witnessed something that doesn't often happen. : )

This is awesome! Took me a little while to get into the voice, but by the end of the song I really liked it. It would have been so much fun to be part of the cast making this clip - it just looks like it would have been the best time ever. :-)
Love it!!! Infectious Energy! The diversity in the audience is great,love all the different styles of dancing. Belly dancing and Tai chi in the same video is a first for sure. Kenny Wayne is a big favorite of mine, along with Jonny Lang, thanks for the link!
Got sucked into the different artist's "guilty pleasures" love that Steve Stevens has the Association listed! It was the first album I "borrowed"(she would tell you stole) from my mom in the early 70's
@christineb I'm glad you like it! I love KWS and Johnny Lang, by the way. Haha I fell down the "guilty pleasures" rabbit hole, too, but I hand't read Stevens' yet. Whoa, he also lists the Lost In Translation soundtrack! I don't have the personal experience he has to go along with it, but I fell in love with the music the first time I saw the movie back when it came out and immediately bought the CD. And then bought a few from the artists featured. Have you seen the movie?
@shiningsun2k I saw the movie, but when it first came out. After seeing Bill Murray on a talk show recently I was thinking how I want to re-watch it~ now to find the time.....
@christineb same here. I bought the DVD cause I liked it so much, but still haven't seen it again. I was just wondering if you'd seen the epic scene where Murray karaokes Roxy Music's "More Than This".

@shiningsun2k Shame you didn't film it ;)
shiningsun2k
@yrmonster Yep, the voice took me some time to get into as well and I'm with you on thinking it must have been a great time taking part in the video.

@redheadx Haha yeah yeah, I do kinda wish I had.
