"It's such a burden to carry 'round the vestiges of dead dreams, And I don't want to make a wake out of my life." One of my mantras is "Don't postpone joy." But a corollary to that should be "forget regret." There's no use tying yourself to failures that you have no hope of rectifying. Failed relationships, failed friendships, failed choices--they belong all in the past. People talk about having their dreams come true... but everyone forgets that nightmares are dreams too. The more you dredge up old heartaches, the more you make the present into the same hell.   1
