Mates of State takes me back... I pretty much owe my taste in music to Brendan Leonard :)
Sent out on the "Polyvinyl 15-Year Anniversary Sampler" with an of Montreal purchase.
I think this song is maybe possibly about math. It's still great.
Someone mentions Mates of State on Twitter and I realize I haven't thought about them in almost a decade.
