simonhooper1’s first jam of 2015 was “Comfort Inn Ending” by Jhene Aiko, and the jams kept coming; 14 in total. Plenty of pop, new wave, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “Turnaround” by Ornette Coleman. simonhooper1’s final jam was none other than “Something I Can Never Have: Still [2002]” by Nine Inch Nails.

simonhooper1’s year started strong with “I'm Aquarius” by Metronomy. 35 more jams followed it! Lots of electronica, techno, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “The Wires Are Down” by The Blue Nile. People really liked “I've Seen That Face Before (Libertango)” by Grace Jones. simonhooper1 was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Sayit” by Röyksopp & Robyn — before 11 others! simonhooper1 crossed 50 jams in August! 2014 drew to a close with “Parade” by Rone.

In October, simonhooper1 joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Hidden XS” by Fuck Buttons. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? 60s, oldies, and electronic. “The Classical” by The Fall got a lot of love. simonhooper1 reached 20 jams in December. simonhooper1’s 2013 came to a close with “Kveikur” by Sigur Rós.
