Great song. Funnily, I listened to this song hundreds of times since the 80's and never knew who Jeannie Shrimpton was. Google imaged her a few weeks ago and in her prime? Quite a beautiful woman.
@KParkBro Oh she certainly was. Surely one of the best opening lies ever. I have this 12" on bowling bowl blue vinyl. One of those records where you put the needle right back to the beginning.
Kinda jealous of those who have a serious vinyl collection b/c I really don't. The digital age is great and all, but there's something to be said for physically picking up a needle and putting it on an album to listen to it.

Didn't know they were still going! Perfect indie pop with a Lovecraftian title - what could be better?

@UncannyUK And I see they've just played a date with Blondie. Great gig that would have been

@simonp If aliens abducted my wife tomorrow <aftertheappropriategrievingperiod> I could envision myself on bended knee proposing to 1965 Jeannie....
KBro
******(I could probably even more easily envision her security guards beating the ever loving shite out of me after said proposal)*******
