







sisterj’s 2015 started strong with “Red Hot” by Billy Lee Riley. In August, sisterj found it, their eternal jam: “Childish Things” by James McMurtry. There was a lot of soul, classic rock, and 60s. All things must end; sisterj closed it out with “Goodbye, Goodbye” by Oingo Boingo.

sisterj’s 2014 started strong with “Choctaw Bingo” by James McMurtry, and the jams kept coming; 61 in total. The year’s recurring themes? soul, pop, and oldies. They were the first, and only, to post “Death, Have Mercy” by Vera Hall. “Car Wheels On A Gravel Road” by Lucinda Williams got a lot of love. sisterj passed 100 jams in September. sisterj’s 2014 came to a close with “New York” by Angel Haze.

sisterj’s 2013 started strong with “Raspberry Beret (Prince cover)” by Hindu Love Gods, and the jams kept coming; 23 in total. Lots of 80s, pop, and country. sisterj posted a rare gem: “Till The Morning Comes” by the Grateful Dead. People really liked “Gloria” by Patti Smith. sisterj crossed 75 jams in July! “Southern Girls” by Cheap Trick closed out the year.

In February, sisterj joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Mr. Lee” by The Bobbettes. Nice. There was a lot of pop, british, and oldies. sisterj posted a rare gem: “Like No Other Man” by The Sonics. People really liked “My Best Friend's Girl” by The Cars. sisterj was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “You Ain't Going Nowhere” by The Byrds — before 13 others! sisterj crossed 50 jams in December! “Too Long in the Wasteland (James McMurtry cover)” by Jon Hogan String Band closed out the year.
