Steve Reich is rarely mentioned as a grandfather of electronic music, but I personally believe these vibes and pulsations are encoded in all trance-inducing dance and post-dance music that has something to do with repetition. Remember E2-E4, remember Sueño Latino, remember all early 90s music labelled as "trance" before it became a narrow niche formula, heck, remember even minimal... A piece worth thousands of words, reviews, interpretations and relistens. And seeing/hearing/feeling it live before you die. Maybe even multiple times. I did. Did you?”
