from one of my favourite 2013 albums. listening to it again now as i've got a new ipod and it really is a headphones album.
the lyrics "this is not what you wanted. not what you had in mind" often flew round and round in my head as i tried to cope with / get rid of a serious nerve pain related illness that plagued me from march, and still does today. i'll get there eventually but some days, even a full glass looks dry as a desert.
but a new year has arrived and i'm planning to find my happy side again as my health and endurance continue to improve.
so, happy 2014 everyone. may luck find you, love guide you and friendships wrap you up with comfort and adventure. your job is just to guard your health. it is fundamental to everything. x
