Here's some soul music from my adopted hometown. I love Prince, but I can never go on a Prince listening marathon because he uses the same drum sound/pattern for so many songs. This the flipside of that - such a weird and cool rhythm for such a danceable song.
A young Prince riffin' heavy on this one. #Numerogroup does it again with this amazing compilation of Minneapolis funk and soul.
