“I've thought hard about this but my D has to be for DOCTOR WHO, DALEKS and DAVROS......one of my favourite TV shows as a kid was Doctor Who and one of my earliest memories was of one Saturday afternoon....for some reason my Dad sometimes made Saturday night 'fried sprats night' and this one time I just couldn't face them...I REFUSED to eat them....well, I wasn't allowed to get down until I'd made a clean plate so I missed the whole of a Doctor Who episode......I still remember it...crying my eyes out, staring at that plate of sprats, their white dead eyes staring back at me, whilst I could hear the Doctor Who theme tune coming from upstairs......'Eat your sprats!...eat your sprats!'.....”
