Half-dead from pneumonia in 2003, lying in a hospital bed with no pain via Valium, I fell asleep to Aerosmith; had a dream about Steven Tyler; woke up and finished my first decent poem in 6 months. I started singing hard Rock tunes in public that year -- and haven't stopped singing since!
