“Happy B-Day to Allan Holdsworth...The first time I heard Holdsworth (In 1985)..I just didn't get it...As a young guitarist..I did not understand playing outside the key and Myriad Scale forms..Now..With all my musical knowledge ;) (haha) ...I think he is one of the best players to have ever graced the instrument..He is almost 70 and still plays with such acuteness and dexterity ..Not everyone on the planet will like this...Have a listen :)”
