“Second division Italo Pop hack work by most aficionados' reckoning, and yet this track has the way to make me deliriously, inexplicably happy. Like the best Hi-NRG, it seems to channel all the desires, all the inert flotsam from which we construct our fragile identities with a tremulous, existential horniness. Even though the words on this are (by Italo standards) mostly decipherable and pretty generic I still maintain that the language of Italo Disco is the glossolalia of desire translated with a pocket dictionary from the syntax of banality, grasping to transcend earthbound existence like a child grasping for a balloon that's flown out of reach.”
