A great song about a complicated relationship. (I miss Antony)
I was vaguely aware of Antony's "I am a Bird Now" winning a prestigious best album award, a few years ago here in the UK, but I never really heard anything from it. A few weeks ago @pez Jammed "Bird Gerhl" from it and I thought more investigation required. Glad I did - a great album and this track blew me away. With Brother Lou Reed reciting the poem and an awesome sax player leading a Memphis Horns style band.
