I saw this on Facebook recently, fell in love with it and their voices. Found their group on TIMJ. There is another performance of this in a concert hall, but I really like the pace and the overall sound better on this one in the train station. I know! Crazy!   1

Want to feel a shiver up your spine? This 800-year-old Icelandic hymn rendered here in a train station recreates the chill of a wind blowing across an iceberg in the North Atlantic ...   4

The Icelandic group Árstíðir (a folkish pop ensemble) on tour in Germany, and decide to stage an ad-hoc concert at a trainstation in Wupperthal due to its acoustics. The song itself is a hymn, music written in the late 20th century, the poetry being from the 13th century or thereabout.   1
