It's not the sort of thing I find myself listening to usually, but there's something about it that's sad and beautiful. Fuck. I sound like an angsty teen! I still like it! No take backs. ;)
Minimal contemporary classical doesn't get much better than this. Stunning.

Pärt greatly admired Britten, whom he described as possessing the "unusual purity" that he himself sought as a composer"...."When Britten died, Pärt felt that he had lost hope of meeting the only contemporary composer whose musical outlook, he believed, resembled his own".
