It's not been a vintage year for albums, I can't think of one that's particularly grabbed me. I really can't pick a favourite this year but there's been a few good ones, like the albums by the Manics, Damon Albarn, Todd Terje, Got a Girl, Gruff Rhys, The War on Drugs and Avi Buffalo.
