Bad Relationships: Call and Answer BNL had a lot of darkness in their lyrics. Stalkers (Straw Hat and Old Dirty Hank), Abusers (Old Apartment), and Depression (Brian Wilson, Pinch Me) abound in their most famous songs. This song is about two people getting back together after a fight and setting limits and it's heavily implied that things will not work out again. "But I'm warning you, don't ever do / those crazy, messed-up things that you do / If you ever do / I promise you I'll be the first to crucify you"
I don't know. I'm still pretty into this song, sixteen years later.
