Can't get enough of Bauhaus lately. Think this might be my favorite.

I was never a massive fan of Bauhaus but whenever they pop up on iTunes I find myself pinging around the room.

For good or ill, Bauhaus can probably lay claim to being the band that spawned the Goth scene, in part because of their first single, Bela Lugosi's Dead and their look. Clearly obsessed with Bowie, they hailed from Northampton - a UK town also famous for being the home of Dr Martens boots. I saw them at Portsmouth Guildhall at some time in the early 80's - I think it was the 3rd gig I ever went to. This is their 3rd single, released on 4AD in January 1980.
