This song started their encore, and most sticks in my mind. @ingridwildeman you said to tell you how it was, it was sublime! (On second thought, perhaps that was Alvvays, they were excellent as well!) Hiatus: got laid off late July (losing my prime jamming time and source) and had to figure out what to do next…began freelance technical writing, found I liked it, and started my own Web Copywriting, Technical Writing and Instructional Design company, called TurnerCreative.ca - website being developed. So now I'm back, and happier!”

I've been looking forward to jamming this. A recent beach house, a zebra fan in the house and a love of swirly dreamy indie......

I've been listening to @BeaccchHoussse virtually nonstop since seeing them live last week. I bought their record Teen Dream, and the opener Zebra reminded me of the importance of the first song in setting the tone for an album. When I heard this guitar line, I felt nostalgic, wistful, heartbroken, hopeful—like I was back in my teen dream.
