August 5th was Adam Yauch's birthday, better known as MCA of the dynamic rap trio, the Beastie Boys. Had we not lost him to cancer in 2012, he'd be celebrating his fiftieth birthday. To both an amazing artist and an amazing person, I pay my respects.
