When he was raw and truly bonkers. One for the gut even if you're trying not to laugh at times.
Next up on the Beck list is the slightly more lucid, but still pretty bonkers, Stereopathetic Soulmanure. This track is probably more widely know thanks to Johnny Cash. Like the way it sounds as if someone has Beck by the throat during the vocal take.

Beck's whole back catalogue is my jam right now, but I'll choose this old classic which he played at last night's amazing Union Chapel gig.
