Back in 1997, I took a punt on buying this single, having never heard it, because I liked the title. Eighteen years later, having bought loads more of their stuff, I'm finally going to see them live in Cambridge on Thursday.

'Lazy line painter Jane' is a little slice of perfection, Monica Queen's voice definetly makes a difference.
