A grown-up songs for grown-ups. I love a boy-girl duet and Aimee Mann provides the counterpoint. Melody is memorable, singing flawed but believable and the words, well the words are just magnificent. "You went to Nashville to mend a broken head, Stuck in California doing the work of lesser men". And the bit where she tells of the drinking so he could hardly see is tear-jerking.
