This post is as much for the video as for the song. The song is mesmerizing, feeling like some AM epic love song but… wait a second… What did he just say? The gorgeous video makes me long to embark on slow, introspective hike. Overall I'm reminded of Psalm 19 and 1 Cor 13:8-13 The (unintentional?) centerpiece of the video is God's creation its self. Nothing exciting or surprising or uncommon happens- We see humans and trees and water and flames. Even in low light, low contrast, low fidelity, the video declares His goodness and creativity and majesty. If this is what creation looks like through a mirror dimly, what, oh what can the full, uncorrupted image be!? Hallelujah! Maranatha! Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Cor 3:12
