Such a beautifully crafted song
this has always been my favourite Billy Joel song, but it also seems to perfectly describe my life as an ambitious but lost 23 year old. no other words can really capture it quite so well
...a chance for an extra song or two perhaps. I have liked this man for always. Nobody in song portrays the horror of the Vietnam War better than he does in Goodnight Saigon (https://youtu.be/Qjzjhl-QztE), but this is an equally sad, but beautiful song about getting older and still feeling useful. #hopeyoulikeit #timj
