Getting pumped for the 27th. Only a few weeks to go. Wonder how many people will take bats to throw on stage?

Apparently it's Black Sabbath week... or at least it is for the people I follow. I can get behind that.

Top Metal Albums: #3. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality (1971) -- I could really pick any one of Sabbath's first four albums for this spot right here but I went with my personal favorite. On Master of Reality they are at their heaviest, sludgiest and most experimental. Needless to say it is a groundbreaking album that is still being emulated on a regular basis in the 21st century. Sabbath's impact has never been more ubiquitous, as their sound has even seeped into the mainstream, turning up in the low end of bands as diverse as Tame Impala, Black Keys, Death from Above 1979 and Jack White, not to mention obvious metal bands like Melvins, Baroness, Ghost, The Sword and many many more.
