Before I go back to my chronological run through my albums I thought I had time for this little gem. Disturbing video. To absent friends.
I was never a huge fan of blink, but I was always a fan of this song. Not only was it inspired by The Cure's "Lovecats" but it also holds the distinction of possessing my longest held mondegreen. When they sang, "webs from all the spiders," what I heard was "And what's with all the spiders?" That immediately called to mind an insouciant character in a horror film commenting on the dreary decor of the manor in which he found himself. I didn't bother looking up the real lyrics till 2010. By then my version sounded better so it's the misheard words I still sing today.
Like indesicion to call you, and hear your voice of treason.
