'And now my fur has turned to skin, and I've been quickly ushered in to a world that, I confess, I do not know, but I still dream of running careless through the snow.'
"You can wear your fur/ Like a river on fire"
"On the day that I turned 23 I was curled up underneath a dogwood tree...
and now my fur has turned to skin and I've been quickly ushered in to a world that I confess I do not know"
Of all my favourite folk songs about boy/girl/wolf transformations released on Sub Pop by a Portland band in 2008, this is definitely in my top 10.
I never know what to write here. I'm just enjoying the song :)
