“Todays Bo jam comes in the form of "Cops and Robbers" a catchy little ditty that was covered by the Rolling Stones who he shared a bill with when he came to London in 1963, apparently the Stones were practically unheard of outside London at the time.
Bo really was the "Originator" and was surely one of the first band leaders to include women in his band most famously "The Duchess" Norma-Jean Wofford, Gloria Jolivet, Peggy Jones (a.k.a. "Lady Bo," a rare, for the time, female lead guitarist), Cornelia Redmond (a.k.a. Cookie), and Debby Hastings, who led his band for the final 25 years of his performing career.”
