“I've had Jam for a while now, and I've consciously been avoiding Boards of Canada, my favourite artist, out of concern for saturating my few followers with 'more of the same'... I think though, that it has gone on for too long. To start off the first of many, hopefully sparsely but consistently distributed Jams by Boards of Canada, I can't think of a better contender than this fan-uploaded music video for Mukinabaht:"Distorted menacing beats forewarn of a primal danger. At a precise moment in the story, trust is established...one that is unnatural. The nefarious beats fade until the realization that when an instinct (to harm) is suppressed, the unintended result is that another instinct (of self-preservation) may also vanish. Trouble returns..."”
