Dylan's 1974 album Planet Waves was his first after contentiously (and temporarily) leaving longtime home Columbia Records—and was also his first #1 album. It's not talked about very much any more as a crucial part of the Dylan cosmology, but it remains one of my favorite records of his. And for some reason, it's one of the few Dylan albums whose songs are readily usable on this site. I'm swimming through his catalog for the umpteenth time, this go-round via last year's Complete Album Collection Vol. One, and am happy to be once again mainlining Planet Waves.  (Not to mention, over on my other TIMJ account, @covermount, I currently have up Richard Hell doing Going, Going, Gone from Planet Waves.)
