For me, this song defines for me, where Australian music is at right now. Australia had such a strong musical culture and influence circa 1980`s and I feel that was lost through the 90`s and early 2000`s to the pop music phenomenon. We came out of that phase with some weird and quirky music that has been defined as `alt`. Bands like Boy & Bear, have taken the influence of past greats and seeded it into their sound. This is not my favourite B&B track but because of its history (via Crowded house) in my childhood / upbringing, it carries the most weight. - Scott Balalas
