I Am a Cracked Machine by Brainiac
“Eighteen years ago this past weekend, Brainiac ceased to exist after singer Tim Taylor died in a car accident. Still one of my favourite bands even now, their clear influence on a number of bands since usually goes unheralded. Anyway, here's their greatest song, as I see it at least - I'm just glad I got to see then live once, supporting Girls Against Boys at the Duchess in Leeds.”

One of the top 3 greatest live groups I ever did see, RIP 4EVER Timmy Taylor
Today, I am mostly listening to Brainiac, the best band ever to come out of Ohio.
Bought this disc used on a whim in high school, and it blew my mind. I've loved weird music ever since.
Thinking of Tim Taylor on the 15th anniversary of his passing.
