On February 4th - 2014 Broken Bells performed a cover of The Beatles' 'And I Love Her' with the help of a recording of Ringo Starr (playing "I am the Walrus" in the background) on The Late Show With David Letterman.
James Mercer and Danger Mouse, "Broken Bells" were performing as part of the US TV show's week long tribute to the Fab Four, and in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the iconic band's first performance on The Ed Sullivan Show.
We think it is a haunting, mysterious and fantastic cover. :)

Happy Valentine's Day young lovers! Something wonderful from the Letterman show last week.
A refreshing & beautifully done Beatles cover. At once recognizable as the original, but also wholly infused with the etherial, dreamy charm of the Broken Bells musical style. I only wish that they'd included a studio version as a bonus on the new album or something.
