Well pop-pickers, your occasional Doc Lurve, is in a precipitation bound car park in Scotlandshire, penning this wee message. It is merely serendipity in action, that has caused the fine Mr Benton to be crooning about such weather conditions. I was examining the year 1969 t'other evening (Lord knows why) & tho' Mr Norman Greenbaum was riding chart high at the time, I Jam otherwise. As a wee skool laddie of 9, I wasn't enamoured of the girlies, but I was clearly a sex bomb to them. Two in particular vied for my attention. Both bigger than me. Both lusted after by others. At a party (my first ever) the evening degenerated into a full blown game of postman's knock. Upon discovering this entailed snogging in a darkened spare room, I immediately became quite ill. Whilst Spirit in the Sky raged on in the background, I snuck out, leaving a trail (2) of devastated beauties. Yes, the future Doc Lurve had left the building! Marisa&Patricia, forgive me.
