Can't remember if this has been my jam before, but this is reet lush

It was a happen-chance hearing of "Kissing Strangers" by @CherryGhostband on the This Is My Jam website on June 2010 that drew me into Cherry Ghost's broad canvas of songs, sprinkled with hope and light, but invariably with a dark background. Taking his name from a line in a tune by Wilco (Theologians), Cherry Ghost is the stage name for Simon Aldred. Cherry Ghost quickly earned a reputation as a "band" to watch (Later with Jools Nov 2006), and Aldred began performing live under the name, ranging from a full band to Aldred solo. The new album Herd Runners is available, released today 19th May, but I thought I would start with a retrospective and post this, the first track I heard from Cherry Ghost.
