Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? (Live) by Chicago Transit Authority

“Theme: Q&A Q: Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is? A: No. It's nearly impossible. What we know as time is based on entropy. Our universe begins 13.5 billion years ago in a state of order. Some event happened that caused things to start heading towards disorder, or low entropy. The atomic clock, what we base our time on now, measures time based on the deterioration of radioactive metal. Yet by the time we observe the deterioration of the atom, the light must reach our eyes and then register in our brain. We can therefore only know what time it was. Also, since we can only measure time in one direction we cannot tell what happened before hand and why the universe was in high entropy to begin with, can we count the time before that as time as we know it? Eh... i'm getting a beer.”

We can't find this song online. Make it your jam if you know a good link! :)

This jam is special! The first and only time it’s been posted was by Mercurywaxing in Aug 2014.
