Many people will be familiar with the clarinet version of this piece, as played beautifully by Richard Stolztman. The piece is Prelude number 8 in Book 1 (of 2) . The books were simply called Preludes and each contained 12 pieces and being similar in style are often played in a cycle. They were all written for solo piano as here. This is one of the best known. #hopeyoulikeit
