For me the saddest rock story of 2014 might've been Grass Widow breaking up. Even moreso considering that I never got to see them live. The only bright side is the new bands that spawned from the ashes: Ruby Pins and Cold Beat. The latter is the best, and is worth your time if you're at all into post-punk. #sfo
In the parlance of their SF base, I'm HELLA stoked for Cold Beat's debut LP, a late b-day gift arriving 7/8 via Crime on the Moon. Members of Grass Widow, Erase Errata, Shannon and the Clams, and the Mallard!!
