Loving this cool palm-pounder of a track from CWK's latest. I wouldn't say it's the standout from the album, but I can't get over the way the drums and piano work together here. Guitars are just there for atmosphere. As a song, it's pretty simple, but it says its piece and wraps up nicely. Pacing is pretty much perfect.
If history is an indicator I'll obsessively listen to every track repeatedly on the new CWK. This is the first
I've really liked Cold War Kids since 'Robbers & Cowards' but I think this album is their best yet. On repeat.
