OK, my #47 album is Scary Monsters by Bowie. I couldn't jam the track I really wanted but this will do nicely (perhaps I'll try for the other one on LetsLoop eh?)

I don't know what it is about this song, but I will buy any cover version of it that I become aware of. With so many other great Bowie songs, I am mystified by its effect on me.

Continuing my countdown of my ten favourite David Bowie songs in chronological order. "Ashes to Ashes" includes the reemergence of Major Tom a decade after "Space Oddity". The signature sound in this album is the combination of David's deadpan tone with guitar synthesisers.
