5. It's 1973 and the top single from the album "Alladin Sane" is making inroads into the world charts. One of Bowies most popular singles, the writing of The Jean Genie gained inspiration from Iggy Pop. The strong rhythm and base that underpins the song created a solid appeal with Bowie fans around the world. David Bowie is a multi domain artist with talent more broad than being simply singer-songwriter. His skill transcends multi-instrument musician, singer, songwriter, designer (costume and sets), artist, actor. To me he is a complete artist in the fullest meaning of the word.   5
