There's a lot of hype about Royal Blood (this months "saviours of British rock"). But of course when I listened to them, I found they actually make your standard, fairly boring blues-rock. I mean they're okay, but are they anything more than that? I was especially shocked at one of the track titles (Blood Hands) being remarkably similar to a far superior bass 'n' drum duo from Canada. Why do British music critics keep hailing bland average-ness as the pinnacle of our nations musical efforts? But anyway, here's DFA1979 showing how to inject some serious energy into your 2 man assault   6
