i still don't get the appeal of Depeche Mode, even with fine tracks like this one. great songs buried in very boring records. maybe i don't get them :/

It's Friday and I haven't posted the Mode in a while. Let's rectify that with a top three tune.

I think this is one of their best but according to last.fm there were 28 more popular DM tunes last week. I'm hoping to hear this when they play The Hydro in Glasgow next month.

just an absolute jam. moody and compelling.
we went to see Depeche Mode play in Manchester last week and they were very good (as always!). They played this during their set and I think this is one of my favourite songs of theirs - after that very "pop" intro, it takes a surprising dark turn!
