At first, i disregarded this track because i just wasn't feeling the Depeche-Mode. Now, I am absolutely intoxicated by the horns after the verse, the way Gahan sings lowly in the chorus, and, lastly, the harmonies in the second chorus. OH gosh...
For the next ten days I will be doing my Depeche Mode top ten list.
My son and I play a game where we pick a band and name the top three to five songs. When DM came up, it wasn't so easy, both Rob and I struggled... I grew up with DM, they were my "teenage angst" go to band. I saw them in concert, they were my boys! This is was no small undertaking! What started out a fun game was now a life changing decision!!! (okay, not really but it was important..) It took Rob and I about two weeks to come up with a top ten: then, like children at Christmas, we shared our lists and discussed/debated our decisions. Our lists varied, as did our reasons for the songs, .. I had created a DM addict..It was one of my proudest moments as a Mom..
