I adore her and I love the original, but the one that resonates more is Whitney Houston's, which was on the radio one stormy autumn night when the wind was howling. It was like a ghost singing and a bit Wuthering Heights.

Saw/heard Dolly Parton last night. "I can't sing like Whitney Houston…", she said. And then went on to sing in a way Whitney could only have dreamt of. This made me cry and cry. That voice. Oh, that voice.
