“#ABCsOfMe D is for Dusty Springfield. When I was a kid and first heard her singing with Pet Shop Boys I was a bit like; "what's that old woman doing there!?" Later I found two of her albums in my moms collection had a listen. It warmed me up a bit, but not into any frenzy. The frenzy came much later... Starting with my first major Burt Bacharach period, leading me straight into Dusty's loving arms (I was in my early to mid 20's). It was a great place to be at the time. This is one of the greatest songs ever... in my book.
By chance my D seems to coincide with @philipnareike 's #DustyWeek”
