DVBBS are basically about party bangers and not much else, and that’s really totally fine with us. Listens for “Tsunami” went suitably crazy last week, with 1,365 people getting down to its intensely heavy bass drops; the kind of bass drops that have made Baauer such a vital name in electronic music. This is music written with the sole intention of getting the club moving and it doesn’t sound like many are doing it much better than DVBBS right now. Or that’s at least what all the Last.fm listeners out there would say who have put the Toronto beat-makers on top of the Last.fm Hype Chart.
